Founder-led small-group journeys into deep forests and wild lake country, shaped by the slower rhythm of life outdoors.
A journey lives in the moments between the miles — shared meals, cold mornings, quiet water, and helping hands.
THE SMALL RITUALS THAT MAKE A FEW DAYS OUTSIDE STAY WITH YOU.
These are not tours built around checklists. They are carefully paced days on forest trails, quiet meals at camp, and enough time to notice where you are.
Why travel with usEvery itinerary is designed and guided by the person who knows it best.
Six to eight travelers, so conversation comes easily and the forest stays quiet.
No crowded viewpoints, forced pace, or racing daylight to tick another box.
Three distinct ways to leave the noise behind, each rooted in the forests and wild country of the Pacific Northwest.
01 Fern-lined trails, misty ridgelines, and unhurried mornings beneath the forest canopy.
02 A quiet lake, a well-made camp, and long evenings shared at the edge of the wilderness.
03 A compact backcountry escape for anyone who needs less noise and a little more sky.
Everything we include has a purpose. Everything we leave out gives you more room to be there.
Keeping each group to six to eight people keeps the experience personal and the places we visit undisturbed.
Every day is composed by hand — the right trail, the right camp, and time for the unexpected.
Good food, thoughtful gear, and a well-kept camp make sleeping outside feel beautifully simple.
Local seasons, changing trails, and quiet alternatives shape every decision along the way.
We travel lightly, respect sensitive landscapes, and leave each place exactly as we found it.
You do not need backcountry experience — just curiosity, presence, and a willingness to walk.
“The best way to know a place is to give it time.”
Stillwild grew from Elias’s love of lesser-known trails, forest weather, and the kind of travel that makes space for conversation and silence in equal measure.
He personally designs and leads each itinerary, bringing ten years of backcountry experience and a deep respect for the landscapes of the Pacific Northwest.
